Over the last five weeks the Gold Coast’s Hit90.9 Bianca, Dan and Ben ran the ultimate Trade-Up Promotion, trading from a paper clip to $15,000.
The event was inspired by Canadian blogger Kyle MacDonald, who in 2006 bartered his way from a single red paperclip to a house in a series of fourteen online trades over the course of a year.
Trading a paper clip to novelty earrings, a secondhand bike to Jai Arrow’s signed State of Origin jersey, for their last show on Friday, Bianca, Dan and Ben’s Trade-Up saw the guys give away a massive $15,000 to a highly deserving winner.
