Will & Woody’s Swap Meet has wrapped up with the ultimate finish – a live, on-air proposal.

The game sees the KIIS duo trade items for a listener until they reach their dream outcome.

After last year’s infamous swap from a bag of peanuts all the way to a trip to Paris, the boys set out to swap big again – this time turning one listener’s practical item into something life-changing.

This year’s story centred on a couple called Paris and Paris (yes, they’re both called Paris!).

In a case of ‘book to bling,’ female Paris kicked off the Swap Meet with an old psychology textbook, aiming to swap it all the way up to a beautiful engagement ring.

Paris called up Will & Woody and shared “I’ve got a ten-year-old psychology textbook, Abnormal Psychology and my dream item is an engagement ring so my partner can finally propose to me. Ideally, I’d like a 2.5-3 carat, centre stone but I would take whatever I can get.”

Along the past three weeks, the textbook levelled up through trades including:

 • a photo frame speaker

 • a 2015 15” MacBook Pro

 • a vintage Canon film camera

 • three signed Taylor Swift CDs

 • a six-foot taxidermy python

 • scratchies picked by a psychic

 • a Michael Goddard piece of art

 • a smaller diamond ring

 • some outdoor pavers

With the help of Globird, of these swaps then resulted into a beautiful final moment: the ring was delivered to Paris’ partner Paris and the proposal happened live on air.

Paris of course said YES!
