Byron Cooke will run for the Senate in the next election

Byron Cooke will run for a Senate seat in the next Federal elections, standing for The Sensible Centre Party.

The former Fox FM Breakfast co-host turned podcaster also announced his plans on his podcast, The Byron Cooke Show, saying, “I will stand for election in the Senate, and my goal is to win a federal senate seat from Victoria, and to be a voice for the sensible centre.

“If you don’t strictly identify as a leftie or a conservative, if you want to see everyone in this country do well, not just those in government, not just those in big business or big media, which by the way I left, I’m confident that this party and many of its policies will make sense to you and I’d be honoured to represent you in Canberra.”
