Call out to Power FM SA listeners and former employees as the station turns 25

On May 12 2000 a switch was flicked in Murray Bridge and Power FM launched into South Australia. Repeater licenses were granted in 2002 and 2005 to extend the reach of the station to the South Coast, Adelaide Hills and along the Fleurieu Peninsula. Early in 2022 when Grant Broadcasters sold the majority of their stations, Power FM SA joined ARN.

That little potted history barely at all conveys the way the station and its staff past and present have laughed with, cried with and informed their listeners and community, through good times and not so good times.

Power FM SA is seeking any photos, videos, audio or memories you have about the station for a project they are putting together to mark the milestone. They’d love to know if you were part of that very first day!

You can submit your memories here or leave a message on the social link below.
