Can Hughesy and Kate keep it up? Survey 4 will tell

Three Surveys in and Hughesy and Kate’s KIIS Network Drive show has all but vanquished the opposition. They’ve shot to number one overall in Sydney and Adelaide. They’re number three overall but number one FM in a tight Melbourne market. Only in Brisbane do they currently trail their main rival, Nova.

Now they can be heard in Perth too and by Survey 5, in about seven weeks, we should be able to get an inkling on how they’re performing on ARN’s new purchase, 96FM. And by Survey 5 we’ll also see whether Hamish and Andy can still turn ears to their spot on the dial.

That’s next time. This time, the survey at hand is GfK Survey 4 which will be released tomorrow morning at 9:30. Then we will find out if Hughesy and Kate can continue their meteoric rise in Drive and help consolidate the KIIS network’s boast as Australia’s number one radio network.

Once again, attention will be drawn to the Melbourne market which remains very tight on the FM band with Triple M starting to kick ahead of the pack.

Speaking of Triple M, while SCA will not be expecting miracles from the embattled hit104.7 2DayFM, it will be hoping for sustained growth from the Triple M network to claw back lost marketshare.

Who will be the big movers and shakers? Join us here on radioinfo from tomorrow morning at 9:30 to find out as we present the numbers, the analysis and the spin.
