The first GfK radio survey results for 2022 have been released today.
The results show Mix 106.3 is still holding the pole position at 20.6 (+3.5), followed by Hit 104.7 with 17.6 (+2.8).
Mix holds most major time slots, including Breakfast and Drive and dominates the ov r 40s demographics.
Hit firmly holds the 10-24 demographic, with the lead in the 25-39 demographics as well before falling off with 40+.
ABC Canberra remains steady on 12.3, with only a minor loss of -0.3, winning the over 65 demographic.
2CA dropped -2.5 to 6.0% and 2CC fell -1.3 to 4.7%.

The Canberra market is the only "capital city" market where RN's audience of 7.6% is larger than 2CA and 2CC of 6.0% and 4.7% respectively. Typically RN rates approximately 2% in other "capital city" markets.
Similarly, "ABC Canberra"'s audience of 12.3% is greater than the combined audience of 2CA and 2CC.
Even "News Radio" at 5.1% defeats 2CC at 4.7%.
Canberra seems to be the only market where the ABC rates higher than the other markets.
