Candice Warner joins Sydney’s Dead Set Legends on Triple M

From the 19th February, Candice Warner is joining the Triple M family as part of its revamped Dead Set Legends Saturday morning program in 2022 for the Sydney audience.

One of Australia’s greatest ironwomen, and one-half of Australia’s most recognised sporting couples, Candice will be joined by Triple M legend Dan Ginnane and horse racing Royalty Richard Freedman, each Saturday morning from 10am to 12pm as they discuss all things sports.

No stranger to Triple M, Ginnane has been part of the furniture since 2002 where he started as a Producer of the original Dead Set Legends before going on to host the show with Ray ‘Rabs’ Warren and Richard Freedman for 19 years.

Ginanne is also one of the best in the business as an NRL commentator and will continue that role this year at Triple M as he prepares to add Dead Set Legends to his broadcast schedule.

Since hosting the original Dead Set Legends program, Freedman brings with him a wealth of experience and knowledge, as well as an impressive horse racing portfolio.

The introduction of a new Saturday morning show is part of Triple M’s firm commitment to deliver the most local sport and entertainment content to Sydney listeners on radio.

Candice says, “I’m thrilled to be joining Triple M. What better way to kick off 2022 then as part of the famous ‘Dead Set Legends’ crew with Dan Ginnane and Richard Freedman. I can’t wait to get started.”

Triple M Sydney Content Director, Rex Morris, says, “Dead Set Legends originals, Dan Ginnane and Richard Freedman returning to Saturday mornings will compliment Triple M’s Sydney focused breakfast and drive home offerings, and I know that they couldn’t be more excited to create the 2022 version of this listener favorite.

“Joining the team is someone who has impressed with every appearance on Triple M, and we’re just so thrilled to have a permanent spot on our line-up for Candice Warner. The boys are in the presence of an ironwoman in every respect.”
