One lucky man has won 2UE’s cricketing holiday of a lifetime – part of the 2005 Ashes Series when the Australians tour England to defend the Ashes.
Ross Mills, 52 of Baulkham Hills, is the latest winner on Mike Carlton’s breakfast show.
He has picked up return economy airfares for two to London, six nights’ accommodation at the Millennium Gloucester Hotel, two passes to the fourth test at The Oval and a six day London travelcard. The prize also includes airport transfers, breakfast daily, $1000 spending money, a $1000 voucher from Downtown Duty Free and luggage worth $1000 from Peters of Kensington.
Mills says he will be travelling with his wife Julie and felt like a winner from the start, even pre-empting his win by collecting passport applications.
Ross is a Local Area Manager for the NSW Police and a father of two.
During the year, Carlton has given away holidays to Europe including London twice, India and Hawaii.
