CCT adds regional rugby league to the call list

The Continuous Call team is set to get up close and personal with its regional listeners in the first of what the show hopes will be many Final Farewell Tours (eat your heart out John Farnham).

Over the next couple of months the Macquarie Radio Network show will be broadcasting from different regional locations, promoting events in the local community and, of course, supporting grass roots rugby league.

This Saturday listeners in Killarney will be first to meet the boys, including Ray Hadley, the Big Man-Darryl Brohman, Steve Roach-Blocker, the Vice Captain Bob Fulton and Robert Smith-The Duck. They’ll launch the Border Rugby League Round Robin and help the Killarney Country Women’s Association celebrate its 90th year in action.

This will be followed by stops in Singleton, Roma, Charlotte Pass and Gerringong before wrapping up for the year at McGrath’s Hill in August.

That’s got six markets covered but with over 56 tuning in to the show every week the Final Farewell Tour might have more comeback tours than the Voice himself.
