Countdown will celebrate 50 years since it started on ABC television in early November and ABC Radio Adelaide will mark the anniversary with a one-off local event called Countdown in Your Town.
There’ll be a live performance from popular Adelaide band Chunky Custard, iconic hits of the 70s and 80s played by the ABC Band and DJ Jaki J will round out the night, spinning even more Countdown hits.
