With the prospect of a war against Iraq now imminent, Perth’s 98.5 Sonshine FM has produced an interview-forum addressing the issue of Christians and War.
How should Christians respond to war when their leader made comments like ‘Love your enemy’, ‘do not resist an evil person’, ‘turn the other cheek’?
The forum will air on Christian/community stations this week and is available for free download.
Participants include Brigadier Jim Wallace AM – Former Comander of the SAS and now Exec. Dir. Australian Christian Lobby; Lieutenant Colonel Graham Durston – WA Divisional Commander of the Salvation Army; Rev. Dr Andre van Oudtshoorn, Lecturer in Ethics – Perth Bible College. The forum will be hosted by facilitator Sheridan Voysey (Morning presenter on 98.5 Sonshine FM).
The program is 31 minutes of cold voice discussion with generic callsigns. MP2 and MP3 versions are available for download fomrthe Sonshine website.
