For those of you in Melbourne this weekend, the city has a range of open houses, including community station 3CR in Fitzroy where you can have a look around, sit in a studio, and even record your voice for a station ID.

3CR commenced in 1976 to provide a voice for those denied access to mass media. It presents around 120 radio programs every week, including 20 community language shows in 13 different languages as well as 10 hours of First Nations programming.

The tours are running this Saturday July 27 every hour starting at 10am with the last tour at 3pm.
