UCB International’s 2003 Conference will be held 25-27th APRIL 2003 in Brisbane, Australia. With over 150 delegates expected, from more than twelve countries, it is a great opportunity to mix with other Christian Broadcasters from Australasia and around the world. You’ll also be catching up on what’s hot in Christian music, and the latest in broadcast programming.
The cost is AU$540. There is also a management ‘boot camp’ the day before. Note down the date in your diary if you are in the Christian broadcasting sector. For more details contact UCB Australia.
Broadcast World Africa 2002 is on between 30 September to 1 October at The Conference Park in Johannesburg, South Africa.
“There is lots happening technologically and policy-wise in Broadcasting in Africa. The privatisation of broadcasting is now under way in southern Africa and many parts of the rest of the continent. The digital revolution will sweep away traditional structures, technologies, mediums and organisations that do not
ready themselves for the new dispensation,” says conference organiser Debbie Risk.
The conference is endorsed by the Southern African Broadcasting Association (SABA) and the Media Institute of Southern Africa, this is the only conference covering the full spectrum of successful African broadcast strategies in 2002.
