Conroy named as keynote speaker for 2008 Broadcasting Summit

Communications Minister Stephen Conroy will make a keynote Ministerial presentation at the Australian Broadcasting Summit 2008 on 26th & 27th March at Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre.

Senator Conroy has just been announced on the program, joining a prestigeous line up of speakers from all of Australia’s free-to-air; state owned, pay TV and radio broadcasters.

The Australian Broadcasting Summit attracts nearly 300 attendees representing all sectors of the media industry including television, radio, telecommunications, new media, government, regulators, national and international associations and manufacturers. This summit features a two day conference on television and new media, and a one day conference on radio and is the ideal opportunity to present new ideas and projects and discuss industry regulation.

Speakers will represent major Australian and international broadcasters from television and radio, internet and new media, government, national and international associations, and those developing market leading technology.
