The deadline has passed for public submissions on applications for new community radio broadcasting licences for Coober Pedy in South Australia, Tumut in southern NSW and Victoria’s Latrobe Valley.

The ABA will allocate licences for the three regions, after its planning process identified a demand for a new community service, operated by people living in these areas.

Copies of all applications are available for public perusal on the ABA website and in the Coober Pedy, Tumut and Latrobe Valley public libraries.
