New Zealand’s national broadcaster RNZ farewelled Morning Report co-host Corin Dann last Friday. Dann began his career as a journalist with the network in 2007 and is shifting to become Business Editor.
Dann has been with the Morning Report since 2019 and will be replaced by John Campbell who begins, alongside Ingrid Hipkiss (the new pair pictured – main) on Monday, April 13.
It was an emotional departure with Hipkiss saying:
“I just want to say thank you so much for being such a wonderful friend and colleague. I’m so grateful that my time at RNZ has been spent co‑hosting with you.”
Dann replied:
“I hope the listeners have been able to hear how much fun we have.
It is an incredible job in New Zealand journalism, it’s one that’s to be cherished and sought‑after, and it remains that way.”
