Crocmedia unveils its AFLW coverage

Crocmedia, will broadcast a record 31 games this NAB AFLW season live on SEN and syndicate its call of the NAB AFLW Grand Final on AFL Nation radio stations around the country.
 
SEN’s NAB AFLW radio coverage will include special comments from some of the game’s biggest names including former Collingwood and North Melbourne star Moana Hope who will make her radio debut along with current players, Kaitlyn Ashmore (North Melbourne), Libby Birch (Melbourne) and Ellie Blackburn (Western Bulldogs).
 
The resident commentary team will include AFL legends and experts including Terry Wallace, Dwayne Russell, Sam Hargreaves and AFLW expert Jo Wotton.
 
This season also sees the return of Crocmedia’s Women’s Footy hosted by former Australian Diamond’s champion Bianca Chatfield and Herald Sun sports journalist Lauren Wood.
 
The show, like the NAB AFL women’s competition, is now in its fourth year and provides viewers weekly highlights, insights and analysis of the 2020 season.
 
Women’s Footy will again feature a star-studded line-up of special guest panellists joining Bianca and Lauren each week including AFLW premiership player Abbey Holmes and AFLW Premiership Coach Bec Goddard.
 
Former Vixens captain and Diamonds vice-captain Bianca said she was excited to return for another year of Women’s Footy. “Our aim is to tell the stories of female athletes who are at the top of their game and celebrate the success of the NAB AFL Women’s competition – which continues to go from strength to strength,” she said.
 
Women’s Footy enjoyed widespread success in 2019 with an average weekly audience of 48,000 footy fans as well as 96,000 total video views on Facebook.
 
Women’s Footy returns on Sunday 9 February at 12-1pm local times on Nine and 9Now in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth and Darwin. Joining the program for episode one is two-time All Australian and current North Melbourne ruckman Emma King, lively Richmond recruit Monique Conti and Head of Women’s Football at the AFL Nicole Livingstone.
 
Round 1 of the NAB AFLW season kicks-off tomorrow as Carlton hosts Richmond at IKON Park, 7:45pm. Sam Hargreaves and Jo Wotton will be joined by Terry Wallace to bring the game to life on SEN. All SEN broadcasted games will be heard live on 1116 SEN, SEN SA, afl.com.au or stream it live on the SEN app.
