Croquet anyone?

Nova’s media partner events on the Australia Day weekend.

Nova 100 has partnered with the Royal Croquet Club for a pop up festival that is running for a fortnight, through the Australia Day weekend until 1 February at Birrarung Marr in Melbourne.

Run by Grant Smillie’s company 360 Agency, the Royal Croquet Club runs each night from 4pm weekdays and from 12pm weekends and runs til late each night.

It has a fun festival feel with a large croquet green, food trucks by Misschu, Mr Claws, D.O.C, Meatmother, St.Ali and Gelato Messina, live entertainment each night, pop up bars and Nova has an activation on site during the entire festival.

During the Australia Day weekend, Nova will increase its presence with its branded Nova Café Space.

Last Tuesday night NOVA Entertainment held a media and partner night at the roof top deck overlooking the croquet green.

At the event, Nova’s Kate, Tim and Marty and Meshel & Tommy were joined by Deano, Sarah Maree Cameron, smoothfm’s Mike Perso, Jennifer Hansen, Ty Frost and Simon Diaz, plus News Journalists Matt Smithson, Lauren Brain and Sophia Lazarides.

NOVA Entertainment’s Group Executives COO Louise Higgins, Group Marketing Director Tony Thomas and Group Program Director Paul Jackson entertained guests over Pims, lobster rolls and a variety of delicious delights including Mezzina icecream served in small tins.

Joining Melbourne media and key partners were three of The Real Housewifes of Melbourne, Gina Liano, Janet Roach and Gamble Breaux, who made quite an impression on the croquet lawn in their sequinned outfits.

As part of the fortnight’s events, the NOVA Entertainment team, including CEO Cathy O’Connor, COO Louise Higgins, Group Sales Director Peter Charlton, Kate, Tim & Marty other Melbourne announcers held a sales evening for agency and direct clients at Yalumba roof deck bar.
