After leaving her happy home in Adelaide, and only a couple of months into her first radio job, 19 year old Crystal Vas finds herself on the streets of Tamworth for the annual Country Music Festival.
 
“The festival has been an awesome experience – to meet so many huge country artists like Lee Kernaghan and Adam Harvey!,” says Crystal.
 
When she’s not in the studio doing the Drive shift at Tamworth 92.9, she’s out there connecting with listeners by running her own one woman promotions like a yodeling competition and giving away free hugs.
 
“It gave me an excuse to wear a pink cowgirl hat all week!” says Crystal.
