Dasha to debut for the third Nova’s Red Room of 2026

Pop-country rising star Dasha is next to debut in Nova’s Red Room with a live performance at Prince Bandroom in Melbourne on Thursday March 26.

Born Anna Dasha Novotny, the US artist will perform before just 700 invited guests, having already wowed listeners in a Nova’s Red Room Studio Session.

Dasha said:

“Nova’s Red Room in Melbourne is iconic. I love seeing artists and songs stripped back and played in a new and more vulnerable setting. I can’t wait to be a part of it.”

The performance will be hosted by Nova’s Joel Creasey, ahead of the launch of the new Joel Creasey Show which debuts on the Nova Network in April.

Dasha is currently in Australia as a special guest on Old Dominion’s How Good Is That World Tour, performing at Margaret Court Arena in Melbourne on Tuesday March 17 and TikTok Entertainment Centre in Sydney on Wednesday March 18.

Nova Network’s Group Programming Director, Brendan Taylor, said:

“Dasha is one of the most exciting new voices in pop‑country music today, and we are thrilled to bring her to Nova’s Red Room with the support of Toyota. Our listeners will get a rare, up‑close experience with an artist on the rise, and there is no better way to showcase her incredible talent than here.”

Dasha’s breakout single Austin (Boots Stop Workin’) (below) has now more than one billion streams on Spotify, making her only the second solo female country artist to join Spotify’s Billions Club. Austin also earned Dasha the People’s Choice Country Award for Female Song of the Year. The hit is now certified platinum more than 50 times globally.

This will be the third Nova’s Red Room of 2026, following OneRepublic, who returned to perform under the iconic neon sign at Liberty Hall in Sydney in February, and Keli Holiday, who will his solo Nova’s Red Room debut at Selina’s at the Coogee Bay Hotel in Sydney on Wednesday March 11.

Listeners can enter for this Nova’s Red Room event by registering via the Nova Player and listening to Nova.
