Radioinfo is proud to present a new feature called David Day’s Blog. Each week the Adelaide based radio veteran will provide some insights on different facets of Radio, but mainly announcing and creative… creative announcing. David Day’s spent 40 years in radio starting his on air career at 2VM, Moree in 1969. By 1975 he’d made it to Adelaide’s 5KA and in 1980 was a founding member of SAFM where he was creative director and assistant PD.

He formed his Australian Radio School in 2000 and still found time to consult with Phil Dowse to stations in Ireland, England, U.S.A. and Europe. The school is thriving today.

David’s won numerous local and international awards and has a number of TV shows to his credit too.
