Join 2DU as we celebrate 90 years of broadcasting across Dubbo and Western NSW.
We’re looking for an experienced broadcaster who understands local radio, loves connecting with audiences, and wants to be part of a station that remains at the heart of its community.
This is a full-time opportunity to engage and entertain one of regional Australia’s most loyal radio audiences.
About You
You work well as part of a team but are equally capable of getting the job done independently.
You understand that great radio is about more than what happens behind the microphone. You’re passionate about local communities, local stories and building genuine connections with listeners.
You recognise that radio isn’t always a 9-to-5 job. From live broadcasts and station promotions to emergency coverage and community events, you’re prepared to step up when needed.
You’ll Need
* A strong understanding of what entertains a 50+ audience and the music they love
* Previous on-air experience
* Experience operating playout and panel systems
* The ability to create engaging local content
* A sound understanding of the commercial radio industry
* Knowledge of the CRA Codes of Practice
* Strong communication and organisational skills
What We Offer
* A full-time position with the opportunity to entertain Dubbo and Western NSW every day
* Ongoing training and development opportunities
* A supportive regional team environment
* The chance to be part of a station celebrating 90 years of local broadcasting
* A great regional lifestyle in one of NSW’s most vibrant country communities
If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you.
Please send your CV, recent aircheck and a brief cover letter outlining why you’re the right fit for the role to:
