Dean Lewis is back in radio’s Top 40 with latest hit ‘Empire’ debuting at #36 on the AirCheck National Radio Airplay Chart. KIIS stations led the charge with an average of 24.3 spins across Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. NEWFM, Hot Tomato and Wave FM were the other main contributors this week.
‘APT’ by Rosé & Bruno Mars is set to challenge for the top spot over the coming weeks. The single climbs eight spots to #3 after five weeks on air with 829 spins spread across 25 stations. The Nova network supplied a total of 216 spins, while K rock, Hit101.3 and Hit106.9 notched up 42 spins each.
Teddy Swims’ ‘Lose Control’ re-enters at #40, adding an extra 38 spins on top of last week’s tally (+35.2%). This was largely due to a rise in spins in provincial markets, with significant gains in Wollongong and the Gold Coast.
