Denise Gregorio wins radioinfo prize at RMIT

At RMIT’s Media Showcase at Federation Square in Melbourne this week, Denise Gregorio was awarded the radioinfo prize for excellence in radio.

Program Director in RMIT University’s Bachelor of Communication (Media) program, Rachel Wilson, commended Denise for her work and told us why she won the coveted award:

“Denise created an exceptional final work that exposed the power of the voice abstract from literal dialogue. Emotively powerful and highly technical in its realization. Denise also was passionate and patient in class and was a leading member of the movement towards realizing final group outcomes.

“In broad terms any industry prize is a significant addition to a student’s CV upon leaving university. The radioinfo Prize will help employers assess Denise’s skills and knowledge and understand that we consider her work exemplary. radioinfo sponsorship also demonstrates that the Media degree is connected to industry and that the degree has relevance.”
