Logie-winner Ed Kavalee is heading home to Brisbane in 2014.

He will join The Grill Team with Marto and Michelle on Triple M.

Talking about the move Ed said, “I’m stoked to be returning to Brisbane and to Triple M! There’s no better place for shenanigans than your home town and there’s no better time for them than before people have eaten their breakfast.”

 Ed is one of the best known and hardest working funny guys in Australia. He cut his radio teeth on Triple M earlier this century as co-host on Tony Martin’s Get This, before moving to national drive on Nova and then working with Dave Hughes on his Melbourne breakfast show.

Ed won a Logie for his work on TV’s Thank God You’re Here and has also appeared on Good News Week, Tractor Monkeys, Seven’s Sunrise and as the co-host of Sam and Ed’s Total Football on Fox Sports.

Head of Triple M Network, Mike Fitzpatrick said, “We’ve wanted to get Ed back to Triple M for years. Brisbane is perfect. It makes sense for him to return to his radio home in his childhood town. He is a real talent, has a fantastic radio brain and is a perfect fit for The Grill Team. He is also about to get married and needs the money.”

Pete Timbs, will not be returning to the Grill Team after a two year stint on the breakfast shift.
