Elle Gentle from AFTRS class of 2015 is the new Breakfast Newsreader at 93.5 3BO FM Bendigo. 

At the beginning of last year, Elle said “My dream job is working in regional Australia as a newsreader”.

Elle demonstrated her news skills throughout last year, impressing both NOVA Sydney and SCA.

Elle grew up in Coffs Harbour but spent a lot of time swimming around the islands and reefs of Asia and the Pacific, whilst her parents independently produced underwater documentaries.

When the risk of malaria was too high, Elle would live up to 6 months at a time on her Grandparents’ livestock farm in Orange, NSW.

Previous to pursuing a career in radio, Elle was studying a combined Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Arts degree at The University of Sydney, majoring in neuroscience and psychology. Elle also studied with Petersham TAFE a Certificate IV in Screen & Media (Radio Broadcasting).
