An eBay auction for a good cause

Mix101.1 Chrissie and Janes eBay Auction is officially open for business.

The breakfast duo are auctioning off various items donated by celebrities to raise money for Melbourne mother of three, Mandy McCracken, who survived a life-threatening attack of streptococcal in August of this year. The infection meant all her limbs had to be removed and after hearing that prosthetic limbs cost upwards of $80,000, Chrissie and Jane decided to use the show to highlight Mandy’s story

An assortment of celebrity items went on sale at 8am this morning on eBay including an Eric Bana signed skateboard and a Megan Gale swimsuit with a handwritten note. A full list of items is available here.

All proceeds from the eBay Celebrity Op Shop will go to the Mandy McCracken charity fund. The total amount of money raised will be announced on the Chrissie and Jane breakfast show next Thursday at 8am.
