Ed Sheeran’s ‘Eyes Closed’ debuts at No. 11 on the latest AirCheck National Radio Airplay Chart, the highest debut of the year so far.
The new track received 547 spins across 21 stations and was the fifth most-played song on the Nova network this week. ‘Celestial’ sits one spot above ‘Eyes’ at No. 10 and this week reached the milestone of 20,000 lifetime spins.
Aussie band Sheppard bring their tune ‘Good Time’ to the Top 40, debuting at No. 38 with 199 spins. KIIS1011 notched up 29 spins, while non-metro stations Hot Tomato, K Rock and Wave FM contributed 20 spins each.
‘Die For You (Remix)’ by The Weeknd & Ariana Grande pushes up to No. 31 with an increase of 75 spins (+39.9%). Key gains were made on CADA, Nova and KIIS, while the Hit Network offered up a handful of Nights spins.
