Elvis is a core artist for smooth fm’s target audience and today the station paid tribute to the King, commemorating the 35th anniversary of his death. Some of the staff may have taken it just a little too far.

smoothfm’s own Elvis, announcer Ty Frost, eagerly donned The King’s white rhinestone jumpsuit while on air from 9am to 1pm.

Once off air, Ty adopted The King’s famous swagger and hand delivered burgers to surprised smoothfm and Nova staff.

smoothfm’s programming team created the perfect soundtrack for Elvis’ lunch surprise with Elvis’ classic hits ringing throughout the dmg offices.
