Long serving and much-loved producer Tammii Caught is calling time on her career with Adelaide’s FIVEAA.
After more than 30 years with the company, Tammii has decided it’s time for a fresh start and has accepted a job working for Jayne Stinson MP, the Member for Badcoe.
Tammii said:
“It’s been a privilege to work in radio for more than 30 years at FIVEAA – a station that has a unique and important place in the media landscape in South Australia.”
“Radio is such a wonderful medium to work in and I’m grateful to Nova Entertainment for allowing me to enjoy it for so long.”
“I have always loved the immediacy of radio. Every day is different, and when there’s breaking news, everything can change mid-program. That’s such an adrenaline rush!”
“Throughout my career in radio, I’ve been pleased to have played my role in bringing news and relevant issues to our listeners, as well as assisting them with their problems in the community. Listeners are the lifeblood of talkback radio; it’s been personally satisfying to give back to them, helping to resolve many of their difficulties in life, day after day.”
FIVEAA Station Manager Craig Munn said:
“Tammii has provided unwavering service, commitment, and investment to every role she has held with the station.”
She has played a leading and pivotal role in producing Adelaide’s #1 Mornings talk program for more than a quarter of century, possessing an exceptional work ethic and innate understanding of the audience, combined with excellent knowledge of what makes great radio content.
“The market leading success that she enjoyed with Leon Byner for more than 20 years was testament to her dedication, discipline, insights, guidance, and radio skill set that will be sorely missed by all at the station.
We wish Tammii all the best for her next chapter.”
Additionally this week FIVEAA afternoon presenter Stacey Lee announced she is expecting her first baby later this year.
