Erin Phillips and Isaac Smith join Triple M’s 2024 AFL Commentary Team

When AFL season 2024 kicks off on Thursday March 7, Triple M‘s commentary team will include two new members, Isaac Smith and Erin Phillips, joining football legends and experts James Brayshaw, Brian Taylor, Jason Dunstall, Dale Thomas, Abbey Holmes, Mark Ricciuto, Andrew Embley, Kate McCarthy, Bernie Vince and more.

With nearly three decades of broadcasting the AFL, Triple M football fans will have an adundance of expert analysis, fun and play-by-play commentary with every game this season broadcast live on Triple Ms and LiSTNR.

The addition of Phillips will come as no surprise. Her accolades include three premierships, two AFLW best and fairest awards, and two Grand Final best on-ground medals (that’s not even mentioning her WNBA career before that!).

Smith brings his well-known grin and energy to the Triple M team. He played 280 games with Hawthorn and the Geelong Cats, won four premierships and a Norm Smith Medal in 2022 before retiring at the end of 2023. He will also be heard on The Thursday Rub.
