EXCLUSIVE: Kyle Kwits KIIS…

Stays in L.A. for Trial By Kyle U.S. debut

IT’S AFTER MIDDAY NOW…  SO WE CAN REVEAL…
IT’S APRIL FOOLS DAY!  DID WE CATCH YOU?

According to ARN insiders who spoke exclusively to radioinfo on condition of anonymity, Kyle Sandilands has told management he’ll be finishing up at the end of the year to pursue a television career in the U.S.

Management first became concerned that Kyle had been made a better offer after he’d missed three charter flights back to Australia before travel bans to contain the coronavirus came into effect. “It now seems clear that Kyle missed those flights deliberately,” our anonymous source told us.

Management had tried to keep the news from leaking, telling his Breakfast co-host Jackie O and station staff that Kyle was broadcasting from his Mosman mansion to observe “social distancing” measures. Meanwhile, he’d been online from a studio in Los Angeles all along.

Anonymous sources in Hollywood, who spoke to radioinfo on condition of exclusivity, pointed to the fact that the popular Judge Judy series had been abruptly cancelled by the American CBS network last month, after 25 years on air.

“Sheer coincidence?” asked bouncer to the stars, Bruno Bruiser who wished to remain exclusively anonymous.  “I don’t think so,” he said.

Other sources who nobody has heard of and were happy to be named Smith and Jones, informed us that CBS executives had travelled to Australia for secret talks with Sandilands in February after seeing a few episodes of Trial by Kyle on the TEN Network which CBS owns. “Judge Judy was fired by Skype that afternoon,” said Smith (or Jones).

Kyle, who wished to be excluded from making any comment anonymously, had this to say:  “Judge not, lest ye be judged, Judy… for Trial By Kyle will soon reign on your TV dial.”
