The Fair Work Commission has found that Antoinette Lattouf was sacked by the ABC when she was taken off air two days short of completing a five day assignment with ABC Radio Sydney in December 2023.

Her submission stated that she was told that she had breached social media policies for posting Human Rights Watch content about the war in Gaza on her personal Instagram account. The ABC said she wasn’t terminated as she was paid for the full five days.

The case will now proceed to the Federal Court.
