FBi Radio Digital Art Auction 2020 begins in mid June

FBi radio will hold a digital art auction to raise funds for the continued operation of the station.

The FBi Radio Digital Art Auction 2020 is a silent auction taking place between June 15 and 26, and will not only raise critical funds for FBi Radio but also for the artists involved.

Over 70 of Australia’s most exciting established and emerging artists have joined the line-up including the internationally revered Lindy Lee freshly returned from a solo exhibition in Singapore, pioneering artist Mike Parr who had represented Australia at the Venice Biennale, Janet Laurence after her recent solo survey at the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia and Jason Phu who last year had new work commissioned by the Sydney Opera House and Campbelltown Art Centre.

This will be the fourth art auction hosted by FBi Radio and the first one held digitally. Previous auctions were held in 2009, 2010 and 2018 at the MCA, AGNSW and NAS respectively attracting a mix of collectors, investors and first-time art buyers alongside FBi Radio’s loyal listeners.
