Fifi Box plays a tree in a high school musical

Fox FM’s Fifi Box faced her theatrical fears last night when she played a tree in a high school musical.

Box joined the cast of GREASE THE MUSICAL at Wantirna College and co-host Dave Thornton also took part.

Recently on the show, Fifi went into detail to describe a horrific theatre experience she endured in high school which saw her fail to deliver the most important line in the production! In an attempt to make things right again on stage, the duo put the call out to local schools that were staging musicals. The Head Drama and Music Teacher at Wantirna College answered that call out and after conversations with Acclaimed Director; Baz Lurhmann, it was decided that Fifi is going to play the part of a tree, with triple threat performer Dave Thornton cast as an honorary t-bird.

In a recent interview, Lady Gaga told Fifi that she should “study hard and be the best tree she can be”. Possibly the world’s most famous Tree, John Rhys-Davies who played TreeBeard in Lord of the Rings, visited the show to give some advice on playing such a part. Don Burke also dropped by, naming Fifi a Brush Box Tree.

Fifi also received support from the newly renamed Larry ELMdur, Laurie Oakes and Catrina RownTREE.

Here are the first pictures of the historic event…
