Fionna Allan is leaving MAINfm as Steph Riddel joins the station

Fionna Allan is leaving her position as office manager at MAINfm to take up a new role with Music Victoria.

She has moved into a pivotal new role as Regional Music Coordinator for Mount Alexander Shire.

MAINfm’s Management Committee says “Fionna’s contribution to station operations has been highly significant, including steering the station through challenging COVID-related times, and receiving two CBAA Awards – and for this we are grateful.  Her passion and commitment, and willingness to go above and beyond has contributed greatly to the station’s growing strength and success, and her positive impact will leave a lasting legacy.

“However, it’s not goodbye as Fionna will remain an integral part of the station as a member and volunteer presenter.”

After a thorough recruitment process the station has appointed Steph Riddel as Station Manager and she will commence on 25th May, 2021.

Steph brings a wealth of experience to the role with over 15 years experience as a project and production manager working in the arts and events industries, with a solid background in community radio as a trainer, presenter and producer.

Steph was most recently part of the team that delivered this year’s Castlemaine Fringe Festival.
