It was a full house last night at the Plenary theatre in Melbourne’s Convention & Exhibition Centre – where The Fox’s Fifi Box took to the stage to fulfil a long-held dream.
The venue was filled with almost 2000 people for the special event, titled Fifi Box One Night Only.

Fifi has always been a huge musical theatre and Disney fan, and last year Brendan Fevola and Nick Cody – her co-hosts from the Fifi, Fev & Nick Breakfast show – surprised her with a guest role in Beauty and the Beast.
Then this year, Carrie Bickmore threw Fifi a surprise Disney-themed karaoke birthday party – which Fifi described as the best night of her life. Just her and her closest friends, singing their hearts out to her favourite songs.

So Fev and Nick decided to surprise Fifi with her ultimate dream night.
Fifi opened last night’s show with a fully choreographed rendition of I Will Survive, complete with dancers carrying her in.
It was a 17 song setlist as Fifi was joined by Kate Ceberano, Casey Donovan, Rob ‘Millsy’ Mills, Lucy Durack, Shannon Noll and Joanne to perform some of their biggest hits, as well as sing some beloved karaoke covers.

There was also a surprise reunion of the original Glinda (Lucy Durack) and Elphaba (Jemma Rix) from Wicked, whose performance of Defying Gravity had Fifi and the audience lip-synching along.
The night was full of concert-style moments like choreographed dances, pyrotechnics, glowing beach balls, a surprise sax solo and an Adele-style walk through the audience as an encore.
Catch Fifi, Fev & Nick weekday mornings from 6 on Melbourne’s 101.9 The Fox
