Former Triple M “Shebanger” to host national rock radio show in US

Los Angeles-based Triple M radio personality Byron Cooke has broken into American radio with a US version of his Friday night music and entertainment show, Triple M’s “Import Export”, which launched in the US last Saturday.

Cooke left Triple M’s national drive show The Shebang in August to set up in Los Angeles with his Californian fiancé and fellow on-air talent Crissy Whalin.

Byron and Crissy’s Triple M program will be re-branded “Import X” for the US market.

Innovative alternative rock station Santa Cruz X is the first in America to air “Import X.”

He will continue to present “Import Export” on Friday nights for Triple M from LA.
