FOX secured the services of saucy Brynne Edelsten as special correspondent for The Matt and Jo Show, hoping that she could wangle her way in to the main room in what was her first shot at being a reporter. With the amount of publicity she generated you’d think she had her own table.

With her bold brassy personality she made the red carpet and got to speak to the big stars including Matt Preston, Megan Gale, Shaun Micallef, Adam Hills, Wil Anderson, Sonia Kruger, Claudia Karvan, Ruby Rose and Kerri-Anne Kennerley.

Brynne, who also created headlines with her eye-popping Brownlow dress last year, was the main photo on the most of big websites last night and took up all of page five in the Herald Sun.

She was there to ask the celebs questions, but most of them just wanted to ask her about that dress. Some even tried to talk her out of it.

And after almost three hours standing on the red carpet, she was without an invite to the awards so spent the night with husband Dr Geoffrey Edelsten back in her hotel room at Crown Towers, enjoying room service after being cut from her dress.

Next morning she was back on deck, telling Matt and Jo about her big night and appearing on Sunrise, The Morning Show and Mornings with Kerri-Anne. She also showed them through her wardrobe.
