Radio National’s new weeknight music, arts and review program, The Deep End , will now begin on Monday, February 3, slightly later than the originally announced date of January 27.

As part of Radio National’s reworked evening line-up for 2003, former Triple J presenter Francis Leach will introduce listeners to new music and keep them in the picture with the latest national and international arts news and reviews.

Francis Leach’s background as both a reporter and music presenter – previous stints include hosting Radio National Summer Breakfast and presenting Triple J’s arts and culture program Creatures – makes him the perfect choice to host The Deep End.

The program will also feature Radio National regulars film critic Julie Rigg, with the latest cinema releases and Bruce James, who will be keeping his critical eye on the visual arts.
