A couple of months ago, rising podcast and YouTube sensation Jordan Shanks, aka Friendlyjordies, said some not nice things about the NSW Deputy Premier, John Barilaro. 
 
In response, Mr Barilaro, wasted little time in appointing a top barrister, Sue Chrysanthou, SC, who specialises in defamation cases. Ms Chrysanthou says her client was defamed in two videos that suggest he is “a corrupt conman,” “committed perjury nine times” and “acted corruptly by engaging in the blackmailing of councillors.”
 
Relations between Messrs Shanks and Barilaro have soured considerably since then. 
 
On June 4, police arrested Shanks’ producer, 21 year old Kristo Langker at his family home for allegedly stalking the Deputy Premier.  
 
Langker was allowed bail to appear at Newtown Local Court next week.
 
Meanwhile, Shanks has posted video on YouTube that shows Langker’s arrest as well as key incidents that relate to the stalking charges.
