Perth’s first dance music show Full Frequency will celebrate 30 years on community station RTRFM with a free all-day party and sets from some of the finest DJs to call Boorloo home at PICA Bar on Saturday 30 November.
Starting in 1995 on The Sound Alternative, Full Frequency has become an iconic fixture in the local dance music scene. It began as a segment during Drive in 1994, and was soon given the 3 to 5pm slot Monday to Friday on 92.1FM with a roster of hosts.
From 2pm on Saturday November 30 you’ll hear sets from Micah & Mittens, Allstate, Dart, Nina BC, Nafta, Yikes & Rok Riley and other special guests. All proceeds from drink sales are donated to RTRFM.
This event takes place on Whadjuk Noongar Boodjar and RTRFM pay their respects to Noongar elders past, present and emerging. They acknowledge the importance of art and culture in First Nations history and are deeply grateful to create and share on this land.
The event is FREE. PICA Bar is wheelchair accessible via low-incline ramps. ACROD parking is not available near by. Lighting and sound levels are of moderate intensity. Dynamic projected visuals may be used, as will strobe fast-flashing lights in small doses. Auslan is not available.
