G Media launches Radio iPhone Application in UK

G Media, the number one UK based provider of tailored radio website solutions has launched its first iPhone Application.

The app, for UK commercial stations, plays the station’s output in the background, while displaying scrolling images and text, such as the song and current presenter.

The app also features a ‘contact the studio’ section, and ‘web’ tab for viewing mobile tailored content from the station’s website. Content can be managed instantly through G Media’s ‘Airwave’ content management system. It is available from Apple’s App Store

First to launch their version of the application is The Coast. Managing Director Kevin Stewart says:

“We have seen a massive increase in on-line listening to The Coast over the past few months and this application enables us to be ubiquitous.”

G Media is offering, for a limited period, a 12 month license for the iPhone application at £100.
