KIIS 97.3, alongside 7News, have found their junior sports reporter ahead of Corey’s Little League this Sunday.

After a search was launched to an overwhelming response, one talented youngster has been given the gig.

Congratulations to Patty, who will now step into the spotlight as the official reporter for Corey’s Little League.

Patty impressed the judging panel with his confident delivery and passion for storytelling, scoring him the opportunity of a lifetime.

As part of his prize, yesterday Patty joined KIIS 97.3’s Breakfast News Journalist Alana Riley live on air with Robin, Kip & Corey Oates to read the sports headlines, and today visited the 7News Brisbane studios for a professional TV experience, where he read a segment for the 4pm bulletin.

Patty will also report live from the sideline at Corey’s Little League match this Saturday 15 June and walk away with a $1000 cash prize.

The initiative celebrates young talent and gives one rising star a genuine taste of life behind the mic and on screen.
