After hearing about NT’s famous psychic croc ‘Burt’, Gold 104.3’s Christian O’Connell was desperate to find a psychic animal in Melbourne to make a prediction for tonight’s World Cup clash Denmark v Australia.

O’Connell enlisted the help of SEA LIFE Melbourne to stage a ‘battle of the psychic crocs’, putting the psychic abilities of the aqauriam’s 750kg salt water croc – Pinjarra – to the test to predict the winner of the match. 

Jack Post was sent out on assignment to present Pinjarra with two images of players – one from Australia and one from Denmark – and two chickens dangling in front of each one. Jack serenaded Pinjarra with his version of Crocodile Rock, to inspire the reptile to make a prediction. 

“It wasn’t quite as we expected, we were hoping for a Socceroos prediction but unfortunately it’s a psychic crocodile. It looks into the future and comes back to tell us on GOLD104.3 that it could be Denmark,” O’Connell said.
