Nielsen has today released the third and final ratings cycle for the radio stations on the Gold Coast.
Hot Tomato gained 1.1 share points overall and a 1 point increase with the station’s breakfast programming, proving the value in the new addition of Emily Jade O’Keefe to the time slot. ABC 91.7 FM took the biggest hit, with a loss of 1.3 share points.
Market leader Gold FM retained its top spot, despite a drop, and stablemate Sea FM was in second place.
Sea FM’s Gayley, Matt and Charli breakfast show was top in the breakfast timeslot with 14.9%, despite a drop of 1.4 share points. Second in breakfast was Gold FM’s Richard, Bridge and Spida down 1.2 share points to 14.2% in the breakfast timeslot. ABC 91.7’s breakfast with Bern Young lost 1.4 points this survey.
Gold FM was the number one station across the workday with a 16.2 share and the #1 station for males 10+ on 13.9.
