In GfK Radio 360 Survey 7 results of DAB+ listening it was a win for the easy listening, classic hits stations with smooth top in Adelaide, Brisbane and Perth and Gold 80s in Melbourne. In Sydney it was youth hip-hop and R&B station CADA at No 1. Sky News Radio debuted in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane with a healthy 50,000 listeners across the three metros for their first survey.

In Sydney, CADA lost some of the ground gained but they, Coles Radio, iHeartAustralia and KIIS 90s all reached over 100,000 listeners. Overall listening was down 60K.

Melbourne saw Gold 80s move ahead of Coles Radio. Gold 80s, OLDSKOOL 80s Hits and 90s Hits, KIIS 90s, smooth relax, iHeart Country, RnB Radio Fridays, triple j Unearthed and BLENDER BEATS all picked up 10K listeners or more, with BLENDER BEATS nearly doubling its cumulative audience to 69,000.

Smooth Brisbane picked up just enough listeners to pip Coles Radio this survey with Nova 90s dropping back in third.

Smooth was also on top in Adelaide with Coles Radio second and Nova Throwbacks third.

And smooth again was top in Perth, a long way ahead in cumulative listening from 96FM 80s and Coles Radio.

Overall cumulative listening to DAB+ radio was down in every metro. It has been a big win across the board for the Nova Network and smooth stations with more than 4 million people tuning in across regular radio and DAB+.
