Gosford stations FM107.7 2GO, Sea hit101.3 Central Coast, Star 104.5 and ABC Central Coast have discovered how their ratings fared when the first radio survey for the region was released today.
Commercial Radio Australia’s Joan Warner says Gosford is an important regional market for radio with a population of nearly 300,000 people in the licence area.
Sea FM, part of SCA’s Hit Network, retained top spot despite losing 2.0 share points, bringing it to 17.9% overall.
A good gain of 3.3 share points for Star FM brought it close to the top spot, coming in second with 17.3%.
Third placed 2GO FM lost 2.0, dropping to 11.7%.
triple j was fourth on 6.7%, followed by the local ABC Central Coast station, which dropped 1 share point to 4.0%.

SEA FM is most listened to at breakfast, with Star FM second in that timeslot.
Star FM won mornings and afternoons, SEA won drive and Star won evenings.
