Grant Broadcasters QLD say thanks to our nurses

This International Nurses Day, Grant Broadcasters radio stations across Queensland have said a big ‘Thank You’ to the frontline workers who have been risking their lives to keep the country safe throughout the Covid19 Crisis.
 
Celebrated annually on the 12thMay, International Nurses Day is a day to recognise the contribution nurses make to society, which in the current climate couldn’t feel more important.
 
From Cairns to Ipswich and everywhere in between, Grant Broadcasters have partnered with their local hospital foundations to say thank you and give back on behalf of their local community.
 
Star 102.7 Cairns partnered with FNQ Hospital Foundation for some much-needed free coffee for local nurses on duty.

Star 106.3 and POWER100 Townsville are sending pamper packs to treat tired nurses.

•In Mackay, Star 101.9 and 4MK are sending hampers to nurses and setting up a tab at hospital cafes.

•Throughout Central Queensland and into Bundaberg, 4CC Gladstone, 4RO Rockhampton, Hitz93.9 & 4BU Bundaberg are giving on air shout outs to local nurses. 

•On the Sunshine Coast, Hot 91 delivered morning tea and pamper packs to nurses on duty. 

River 94.9 Ipswich donated over $1000 from client contributions to the annual Nurses’ Ball which has been postponed for the year.
