Hamish & Andy trawl listeners for ideas ahead of the 20/20 Summit

Somewhat miffed at not being chosen as two of the 1,000 “smart” folk invited to Prime Minister Kevin Rudd’s 20/20 Summit, Hamish and Andy have asked their listeners, smart or otherwise, to come up with their own ideas which will be sent to the PM ahead of the summit in a kind of gatecrash of ideas.

The brainstorm has already yielded a number of ideas of mixed merit from listeners keen to make Australia a better place:

• There should be one item or less lanes in supermarkets

• Restaurant fruit salads should contain less cheap honeydew melon and more pineapple

• Waiters should write your order down instead of trying to show off by memorising it

If they could come up with ideas for these pressing problems, imagine if they put their minds to global warming or avoiding the predicted economic downturn.
